Manthara,majical novel of Abhijit Chaudhuri, will soon be released from SOPAN. Translators in English are Goutam Majhi,Moumita Bhattacharya and Parama Chaudhuri.
I convey my best regards to renowned author in Bengali literature - Mr. Abhijit Chaudhuri for choosing me as one of the translators of the project, Manthara. The bengali version of this novel is so enthralling that I grabbed the opportunity to translate it into English. But The Slave Princess as the title of the English version would have been better choice than the proposed one- The Captive Princess by the novelist himself.
